About Me
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela on October 3, 1978. At the age of twelve, I moved to Boston, MA - U.S.A. where I attended Catholic Memorial High School for my freshman and sophomore years and Newton North High School to finish my junior and senior years.
At the age of fifteen, I found myself involved in the Television industry. My first job in this industry began in the fall of 1994, were I worked as a Master Control Operator at WCEA-TV19 Boston. One month later, I was given the job of Technical Director on Noti-19, the station's local newscast.
In September 1995, I debuted as a Producer, creating and Producing Boston's first sports show in Spanish. The show was en titled Deportes y Punto en TV; it targeted young Latinos/Hispanics between the ages of Fifteen to Thirty years-old. The show was a recollection of the week's top stories, interviews and more. In February of 1996, myself and a crew of Reporters and Technicians, went to Santo Domingo-Dominican Republic to cover the XXVI edition of the Caribbean Baseball Series, which I was part of again in February of 1997 in Hermosillo-Mexico during the XXVII edition of the Caribbean Baseball Series.
In the summer of 1995, myself along with Diana Ubinas, created what soon came be called an entertainment institution for young Latinos of Boston, that is Jam House (WWW.JAMHOUSE.8M.COM.) The concept was to fill an entertainment gap for the young Latino community of Boston. Jam House first aired in November 12, 1995, on BNN-TV3 (Boston Neighborhood Network), which is a local public-access station. The television show received good ratings and established its own following. With the increase of viewers and popularity among young Latinos, the show quickly moved to WCEA-TV19 Boston. In addition, in the summer of 1996 Jam House was picked as a finalist at the 1996 Hometown Video Festival. September of 1997, was a month filled with radical changes for the show. On September 26, Jam House the radio show, first aired on Galaxia 1600 AM and in September 27, the television show moved to Emfra TV. In the summer of 1998, Jam House suffered a great hit. The radio show had to get off the air and the TV show had to move back to BNN-TV. Both incidents were due to un-reconcilable differences between Alejandro Pisani Productions and Hispanic Radio Group as well as Hispanic Television Network. In the spring of 2000 after much thought and consideration, I decided to stop the show so I could focus into other ventures.
At the age of eighteen, I also began to promote for various nightclubs in the Boston Metro area including Club Europa, Lava Bar, Plaza Garibaldi, and others. I promoted the after party for the Puerto Rican Festival of Boston for three years in a row. I promoted various events for the Venezuelan community of Boston. I also did street promotion for a company by the name of Latin Concerts. I promoted a number of events with Latin Concerts including performances by Chayanne, Mark Anthony, Luis Miguel, Enrigue Iglesias and many more. Afterwards, I began promoting after-hours. I did a number of after-hours at homes of friends, lofts, garages, warehouses and other locations. Unfortunately, I found myself under Indictment by a Grand Jury and under the advice of my attorneys' I was forced to cease all my activities while hoping to one day be able do what I love again.
